With a problem defined, I can use observations to think of potential solutions.
 

  • I search for similarities in pain points and categorise them

  • Evaluate the resources available and  they can solve the problem

  • Brainstorm ideas that could yield positive results

The clarification stage involves observing and framing findings. First, I identify and empathise with your audience. Where are they coming from? What are their common pain points? Why do they need your solution? How will they benefit? The clarification stage involves observing and framing findings.

The final stage:

Implementation—is the culmination of the previous three phases. It’s where I take all observations, and ideas, before finally implementing a final design solution.

The third stage focuses on developing ideas from the ideation phase. This is done by testing possible solutions and noting the successes and failures of each.


If something doesn’t work, I utilise the user feedback captured during  usability testing to create an improved version.

User interface (UI) design focuses on human-computer interaction and is a more technical approach. It works by anticipating user expectations and creating custom inputs to get them where they need to go. As a result, UI is more concerned with the interaction design foundation.
